Stylescapes: The gap between the creative brief and the design work.
“I don’t know what I want but I’ll know it when I see it”. This can be inefficient for a designer-client working relationship. We now have a choice: design randomly various styles of logos or compile styles for only 3 stylescapes you agreed upon. The latter is much more efficient. To do so, the designer has to understand the needs of the company. A thorough creative brief is in order.
